The process for adopting a dog from us begins with an adoption application, which you may download here. Please fill it out completely and return it to info@redemptionranchca.org so that we can process it. References and a home check are required prior to any meet and greets with our pups, so the sooner you get your application to us the sooner we can process it for approval so that you can meet your potential future family member!
An adoption fee is part of the adoption process and may vary depending on whether the adoption is local or not. Adoption fees cover vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, and microchipping. Puppies that are too young to be spayed or neutered are placed as a foster-to-adopt situation. The adoption becomes final after the puppy is spayed/neutered (which is taken care of by us). If you have questions about the adoption process, please feel free to reach out to us!
If you are interested in fostering a dog for us, please download the foster application and return it to the above-mentioned email.
Pepper is a Pit/Queensland mix who was surrendered to the County shelter by her "family." She'd had a few stints in there previously after getting out of her yard and her owners finally decided they just didn't want her anymore. Their loss is our gain! Pepper is about 6-years old and is compact. She has a sweet and funny personality and gets along with most dogs. Unfortunately, someone horribly cropped her ears, but her smile and big personality light up her face!
Pepper is up-to-date on all her vaccines and is spayed so she is ready to go! She's been with us now since 2022 (for too long!) at no fault of her own. Adoptions have simply been at a crawl and she has been overlooked. But she would love to be your couch buddy with a few trips outside during the day to lay in the sun. She's also great at riding in the car, so she'd love to go along for errands and a pup cup. If you'd like to add Pepper to your family, please send in an application!
CoCo is a 3-year old, female, Pit/Queensland mix who was abandoned with her siblings as puppies. Some good Samaritans took care of them as best they could until rescue was found. We ended up taking three of the puppies, CoCo being one of them. She is a sweet and personable girl who loves to play with the other dogs we have here. She can be a bit rambunctious and intrusive of others' space, so she's a best fit with more easy-going dogs that know how to give proper correction when necessary.
Unfortunately, CoCo is another dog who has been with us for too long. She was fostered for about a year and learned to live in a home with other dogs, so we know she would thrive in a family environment. Her foster had to send her back to us when her life situation changed, and we would love to see CoCo go to a permanent home. She is a smart girl, can be a little shy at first, but warms up and then has a bit of a mischievous side that will aggravate you and make you laugh all at once. CoCo has been fully vaccinated and is spayed. If you're interested in adopting CoCo, please send us your application!
Hiwa is part of a litter that was born with us on March 24, 2023. His momma was in danger of being PTS at the shelter, so we pulled her at the last minute and she gave birth to her babies soon after. There were 8 in the litter and 5 have been adopted out. Hiwa, unfortunately, is still waiting for his forever family.
This boy has definite Boxer features in his face and is a little chunk! He is the cutest thing and more mellow than his two sisters that are still with us. He is also his momma's mini-me as he is the only puppy of the litter with her color. As he has gotten bigger, it is sometimes hard to tell them apart! Hiwa is already neutered and fully vaccinated. If you are interested in adding him to your family, please fill out an application!
Molly is Hiwa's sister and reminds us of a petite Boxer! She is Pit-mix, but there's obvious Boxer in her breeding, however, she is only 50 lbs and could be described as a pocket Boxer! Molly is also incredibly smart, which makes her fun to play and work with. She'll make a wonderful partner for her person because of her ability to learn fast and her natural curious nature about things. And just look at that adorable underbite!
Molly was originally going to be a service dog for a veteran with PTSD, but unfortunately not all of the family was on board. She is a wonderful candidate for a job and more than ready for her forever family. Molly is spayed and vaccinated, dog friendly, and would likely be able to learn to live with cats. If you're interested in adding Molly to your family, please submit an adoption application for her!
